Delete your account

This page is for the Coursy app (developer: Coursy). You can delete your account here, or in the app from Settings → Delete account. Deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.

How to delete

1. Enter the email address and password of your Coursy account.
2. Confirm that you want to delete the account.
3. Press "Delete my account". Your account and data are deleted right away.

What is deleted

• Your profile: name, email, phone, gender, date of birth, city, education, interests and photo.
• Your enrollments, including pending ones.
• Your favorites, reviews and notifications.
• Your login sessions and device notification tokens.

What is kept

• Payment records stay with the institute as its financial records, without any link to you and without the sender name and address: only the transaction number, amount, currency, date and institute remain.
• Copies can remain in server backups until those backups are replaced in the regular backup cycle.

Can't sign in?

Reset your password in the app with "Forgot password?", or email us from the email address of your account with the subject "Delete my account". We delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.
